Muhammad Ali - VIP Tribute Page

On June 4, 2016, VIP traveled to Muhammad Ali's Hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Alongside thousands of mourners, we stood amid the crowd, waiting for our chance to honor "The Champ." Photographer, Greg Reese captured photos of Ali fans offering flowers, posting signs and sharing other tributes at his childhood home. The Vibe of Love and support for "The Greatest" was so incredible, we returned on June 5, 2016, to witness more.

June 9, 2016: we attended a heart-touching Jenazah Prayer Service held in honor of the champ. The service touched the hearts of both Muslims and non-Muslims.

June 10, 2016: We viewed and captured the Muhammad Ali funeral procession as it turned onto Muhammad Ali Blvd and made its way past his childhood home in West End, Louisville. Later, at the public memorial, we joined the large gathering of statespersons, high-ranking officials, dignitaries, celebrities, champions from the boxing world, and thousands of fans as they bid a final farewell to Muhammad Ali. 

Our hearts go out to Muhammad Ali's family and friends in their time of mourning. We send out prayers of peace and Love to his hometown.
